FAQ

Frequently Anticipated Questions

Q: Is this a new network, and if so, why should we choose to advertise with you?

A: True, if you represent Google or Nike we're probably too small. However, we have had early success in website optimization and netsiteweb is our new project. If you go with us you get in the inner circle for a good rate, and in a unique environment. Netsiteweb.com is destined to become a trusted name in website and page publishing. You can advertise or get a promo page, or multiple links - we're flexible.

Q: I have a website already and would like to increase traffic, maybe with a promotional page on your site and a couple of banners scattered around pointing to that page plus my site. Is this a Category 2?

A: That depends on how much design and web work we do, of course it always boils down to hours. It could become a cat 3 if your order takes a couple hours to assemble and install and you only paid for one month, for example. In that respect we have to take care and not give away the farm! If you request an agreement, you'll see how that stuff is covered. Our rates are very competitive; you'll get your money's worth with us, it comes to between $40 and $50 per hour for efforts beyond the agreement. We are a small organization and tend to provide extra service to every client.

Q: Can you handle getting us up with about an 8-page website complete with our own domain name, you design and add interactivity, such as input form management and a shopping cart?

A: Whoa, management? Maybe a few changes here and there, but regular site maintenance should be done by someone in your own organization. We can set everything up and hand the keys over to you, and yes forms and a shopping cart are possible with some joint effort. What you describe will probably cost between one and two thousand dollars minimum.

Q: We would like a two-page spread on your site but have no idea of design- can you help us develop it?

A: Sure, we can show you a few mockups after the first consultation. Your pages will be unique - we keep it simple but hopefully friendly to your cause, too.

Q: I only need one page and maybe a second for a slideshow: How much does it cost to have a unique domain name but not the ads on your site?

A: We're like the Beatles: We Can Work it Out. The name needs to be available, and then it's reasonable for a year and we won't charge any more than the provider we use. All we need is modest compensation for our time. Send for that agreement form, and give us as much data as possible so we can give you a good estimate!

Q: What does a promo page look like?

A: They are all different and customized to be unique. If you don't know what you want, we'll design your promo page up to three times to get to where you're comfortable with it.

Q: What's your best deal? I mean what do you do best and what do you recommend for a small business that just needs some exposure and a website with a couple links and contact info? We could use a fresh design too.

A: Assuming two pages, 8 or 12 links, several graphics, design, communications, adjustments and all the category 2 or 3 publication banners and multiple posting: From experience this is at least a ten hour job with a high quality result, so initial investment might be between $350 & $450 depending on specifics. Also this can include your own domain name and website setup (slight charge) if you so choose. Monthly and/or annual fees depend on specifics too - prices on the 'rates' page are good estimates, but every client is different. That's probably our best package, and you can count on a special design - partly because it will be showcased right here with other members' current ads, pages and projects.

Q: We already have a couple of banners, and only one link to wire up - what are we looking at$?

A: Initial fee roughly $60 for the grunt work (sizing, placing, publishing, integrating) and then $24.95/mo. (we had to raise this amount).

Q: I just need a logo. Do you have a rate for that?

A: Sure, $100 for now, it's sort of a special. It will take a minimum of 2 hours, maybe up to 4 - no charge & you can choose from a variety of formats. Vector art is best. Another special package we offer is the letterhead/business card/logo design for $150.
