it's a web of net sites... a network of websites... whatever it is, you found it!
INTRODUCTION to NSW Sales Pages! We already have one item for sale!
For Sale: Personal items from normal (well, nearly normal) people. Contact each seller and make your deal; we are not responsible for any rip-offs! In fact, nobody ever is! This is merely a place to sell your stuff or buy something from one of the sellers. You deal & wheel.
Item #1: 1987 Harley-Davidson FXR, Completely rebuilt with 6k miles. One of a kind, this bike handles and rides like a dream! Here is the YouTube video of it:
Asking: 11.5k, flexible. Own this awesome Big V-Twin Harley and never regret it! We owned it for seven (7) years and never did. The only reason we're considering selling this family member is for financial, dental reasons. You'll never see another bike like this on the road. It was totally rebuilt/restored after a police accident in '98. It no longer resembles a police bike in any way.
I hope nobody buys it. Riding to the beach or mountains on this machine takes all stress away; it handles like a Yamaha but sounds and feels like the big Harley that it is. The guy who rebuilt it in 2000 put in a heavy cam and oversized pistons; if you want to, you can easily keep up with your buddies on their crotch-rockets! I wouldn't recommend that, though, this cruiser is more fun when you just glide along feeling the experience without being in a hurry. Sure, you have to gun it once in a while to feel the power, but just cruising is much more satisfying in total.
We have extras as well, for example one extra battery, a cover, removeable leather saddle bags and more. If our helmets fit you, you can have them as well. Clymer shop manual included; it came in handy just today when I needed to adjust the idle speed.
Harley people will tell you that this particular model is highly sought after because of the triple-shock mounted motor and the unique frame. I have never regretted buying this HD but I will regret selling it if in fact someone is astute enough to acquire it right now while we're vulnerable.
We have a trickle-charger (which you can have) and a pig-tail is attached under the seat for those periods of time when riding isn't an option. This keeps the battery fresh and powerful. Again, this is a very fresh bike that anyone would cherish and it will never, ever go down in value. Can you say that about your best car? NO! Cars go down in value every week! I paid $9500 & tax for this bike in 2001 and put in an extra 2k in upgrades, such as chrome-plating the primary cover, adding a mini-sportster windshield for wind and weather, and brackets for the leather saddle bags if needed. All of this can be yours for 30% less than buying a Softail that doesn't handle nearly as well, plus there are thousands of them on the road. Our baby is unique and much more fun than any softail.
Finally, I would like to stress once more to not buy this bike; it has some road rash on the front fork tubes (that will happen to your new softail too, and make you very depressed) and it's also a salvaged bike which means Harley dealers won't touch it. Also the motor has an S&S case (lower end) which tends to make some dealerships avoid working on it. Not that it will ever need motor work; the most we ever had to get done was a carb cleaning after letting the gas go bad.
If you live in Southern California, hurry and jump on this deal if you want a totally unique big V-Twin HD that you will love. Otherwise, please disregard this notice. Or, come on down, fork over the cash and drive this baby home. Bring a big pile of cash, because we don't take checks. And we're really not happy about selling our kid.
